Repousse
Repousse is an ancient metalworking technique that involves hammering and shaping metal from the reverse side to create a raised design on the front. This craft is used on materials like copper, brass, silver, or gold, and often features floral, geometric, or figurative patterns. The process requires precision and artistic skill, as artisans shape the metal into intricate, three-dimensional forms.
